BOYS TRACK AND FIELD At Ventura Invitational Ventura: Jake Herbold was second in the 300 hurdles (41.33). Ventura set a meet record in the 4x110 shuttle relay. Austin Nealon won the long jump (20-6 ). Ventura won the team title with 88 points. Rio Mesa: Blake Selig won the 100 in 10.97 seconds. LaDarrin Roach won the 400 (50.34). Rio Mesa won the 4x100 relay in 42.14 and 4x400 relay (3:27.35). Buena: Paul Ramos won the 200 (22.13). St. Bonaventure: Eric Holguin was second in the 4900 (50.67). Pacifica: Matthew Lopez was fourth in the 400 (51.01). Newbury Park: Set a meet record in the 4x800 relay in 8:11.92. Westlake: Won the 4x1,600 relay (18:11.20). Thousand Oaks: Philip Hanley won the high jump (6 feet). Moorpark: Jonathan Gavino was second in the triple jump (41-7). GIRLS TRACK AND FIELD NIZDEL TIES STADIUM RECORD At Ventura Invitational Thousand Oaks: Jillian Krulac won the 100 in 12.88. Meredith Bell won the triple jump (34-8). Newbury Park: Morgan Thompson set a meet record the 200 in 26.28. Moorpark: Sara McDonald was runner-up in the 200 (26.29) and 400 (59.01). Rio Mesa: Raegan Nizdel tied the stadium record in the high jump (5 feet, 6 inches). Rio Mexa won the 4x800 relay, Simi Valley: Madisen Richards bettered the meet record in the long jump at 16-11 . Ventura: Alex Morgan won the discus (146-0) and shot put (39-11). Ventura won the 4x100 shuttle relay, Ventura won the team title with 89 points. St. Bonaventure: Amber Panapa was second in the discus (131-7). Channel Islands: Kesona Grier was second in the shot put (35-9). Pacifica: Brook Dixon wasi third in the shot put (34-10).
